Hello everyone,
I have an RF power detector (10 to 4000 Mhz) that I want to connect its output (SMA female) to the ADC of a microcontroller.
Please, what are the PCB requirements to connect the SMA connector to the pin of the microcontroller?

You can find PCB type SMA connectors ( vertical or horizontal ) for your application. It can be tied to the MC thru a PCB trace.

Thanks BigBoss, but my question is exactly about the PCB requirements (Trace width, clearance, grounding, etc...) Can You give me more details please?

The output of the power detector is a DC signal and uses the RF connector only for convenience. There are effectively no requirements, except for fixing the SMA connector correctly.

If you place a cable between the detector and your board, the PCB side may also use a different (probably coaxial) connector.
