I am doing a project where i need to connect PIC with a bluetooth module which will connect with another bluetooth module wear on a subject, and the PIC will trigger the alarm when the bluetooth connection is break. Can anybody give me some suggestions about the bluetooth module that can be used? How do i actually need to do to connect the bluetooth module and PIC? So, for my project, i need two bluetooth module with two PIC? or just a bluetooth module with a doogle? If anyone know about this, please help me. Thank you.

You can use one of the cheap modules found on Ebay (Be aware that some of the modules are only slave modules, they cannot connect to each other, you can use these slave modules in conjunction with a mobile phone bluetooth, or you can use one slave and one master module.). The transmission is TTL serial, but you need a level converter (cd4050 - hex buffer powered at 3.3V), because your pic is 5v powered, and bluetooth logic is 3.3V. There are also bluetooth modules that can be set as slave or master through AT commands:
**broken link removed**.

I had the same idea, but using a phone with android and a software that allows connection with pic bluetooth and a sort of alarm when the connection was lost.

Yes, but did you see the price? 35$ for one module is too much I think. CD4050 it's half a dollar.
