how to config an application for a user in win2000?

i have installed Acad14.2 in administrator mode.
now when i login in user mode iam not able to run the application.
if i run using "Run as" command then iam not able to access the drive mounted by the domain.

how can i fix this.

better try your self.



i want the application to run in the user mode.

I'm not to sure with win2000, but I think there is a way.

If program is loaded when in administrator. As you post says works in administrator.

Now in administrator, you will have to give access rights to other users (in this case user).

I wish I knew more on how to do this. But I'd start looking in the properties of the program you want to use and start there. I'm sure there is something in 2000 that will allow other users access.

Wish I could have helped more. But if you find answer, please tell how for others.

Oh yes, try using help. Look for granting access priveleges to other users.

when you install a software in w2k, it normaly asks you wether to install only for you (Administrator) or for everyone. I donk know, if you have encounterd this step duiring your installation or not.

try to reinstall the software with "for everyone" like option.
 


there is no such option in Acad14
