How to charge a 12V - 87 AH UPS Battery using telephone line current in parallel?

I need to keep continuously charging my 12V - 87 AH UPS battery using the telephone line current in parallel, along with the UPS charging current. The need is due to the very much load shedding problem in our area. Please provide detailed solution/answer, with schematics (if needed), and what would be the settings/arrangement to protect circulation of current from one source into the other (i.e. telephone line current into the ups, as I know that Higher magnitude current always flows into the Lower current magnitude source/place).

Telephone line can provide maximum 50mA. So if your battery requires to nine amperes for ten hours to charge. Charging from telephone line will require 87x20= 1740 hours and you will not be able to use your phone during this time(ignoring self discharge of battery).
Further, most land lines trip and dc supply is disconnected if telephone is not dialed and only hanged for more than three minutes to save power.
You can use 10 bright white LEDs connected in series with 2.2K series resistor to get some free power from telephone line by connecting to it. For that matter you even don't need battery. Connecting to telephone lines is illegal in some countries.
 

The is a very high voltage on the line when the telephone rings. This may damage any electronics you connect to the phone line, and can give you a nasty shock.
 

You can burn your phone lines just because 50mA @ 30V and @80V when ringing. For such things telecomunication company can permanently disconnect user from system. Better use someting else to charge battery.
 

You need to be care full how much current you pull on the line. If you pull about 10ma possibly less the phone company will detect that current draw as an "OFF-HOOK" phone. This will disrupt your phone service as anyone calling when "OFF-HOOK" will get a busy signal.
Also when phone rings you get 90-110Vac on the phone line and this will fry your electronics unless you know about it and protect your electronics.
I personally don't think using a phone line would be adequate for charging a UPS battery.
Normally charge current is about 1/10 of the battery rating and a phone line won't hack it.
ALERTLINKS is right on about the issue with using a phone line this way.
