Virtuoso background

Hi members,

I need to put some Layout pictures in my report with the minimum blacks for ink saving.
Could someone tell me how to change the Virtuoso's black background to white ?

Thanks.

Re: Virtuoso background

Hi,
Thanks a lot for your replies.
This works fine with curves windows.
But I still can't change the backgroud of the Layout.

Hi again, AdvaRes,
instead of a screenShot of the Cadence schematic, you could plot it to a (std) PostScript file (gets white background, and quite good resolution), and then run ps2pdf on it.
As another favour, you could remove the grid dots before
(Options -> Display... (o) Grid Controls: none).

Cheers, erikl

Re: Virtuoso background

Before start icfb in terminal window run command

echo "Opus.editorBackground: white" | xrdb -merge

For return to black background

echo "Opus.editorBackground: black" | xrdb -merge

and restart icfb
