How to change the drill size of a PAD in Orcad Layout?

dear friends,

i hv 2 problems stated below. plz show me the way.

1>I could never been able to change the drill size in "orcad layout" for any componant. WHY IN ORCAD WE CANT CHANGE THE DRILL SIZE FOR A PAD .?

2> when i opn the librery manager in layout, In the padstack librery i dont find any pads. WHY .? is this normal or any problem with my software .?
i m been using this software version ORCAD-9 since years.. without any problem


plz plz plz show me the way.. my main problem is "how to change the drill lsize of a PAD in layout.

1. In "Options" menu, select "User Preferances".
2. Marck "Allow Editing of Footprints".
3. In working area, pick the "Pin Tool" button.
4. Left click + Ctrl ,on the pin that your change.
5. Select "View Spreadsheet" button and select "Padstacks.

my question still remains the same and unanswered --- HOW TO CHANGE THE DRILL SIZE OF A PAD IN ORCAD LAYOUT PLUS ..?

On the same padstack spreadsheet you will find DRILL and DRLDWG row. double click and change drill values.

You cannot change dimensions of pad directly..first create the footprint then using padstack window change the properties of pads.

If u want different pads double click the pad then chose different padstack....

then change the properties of all pads in padstack window(shift+t)
