Hi

I am new to DSP algorithm and new to this forum also.

I am capturing PCM samples using TI MCBSP peripheral. I use TMS320VC5502 dsp. Sampling rate is 8khz and sample size is 16 bit.

How can I calculate dbm and db level of these input samples captured ?

thanks in advance
