Building your own guitar effects can be a way to get a
classic sound without paying a fortune for an original.
With the vintage market in its current condition, an
original big reputation effect can cost as much as a new
guitar.
Building your own effects requires some mental and
physical stretching, which is good for us all. To do this
well you'll have to:
· learn at least some electronics to understand the
effect
· learn some electronic prototyping skills
· learn to so some mechanical operations to put it all
together
