Hello

Is there a low cost machine for producing small quantity of membrane keypad and panel printed layout?

How do you build your panels that are membrane type and which materials you use?

Roughly what is your budget?

There are some companies that do small volume using PCB as the base material. The price is around $8 for a 4 x 4 matrix keypad.

Hi!
i think for low cost design sensor keyboard can be quite nice sollution.
see: hxxp://www.discovercircuits.com for solution.

pleasegive direct link.

Is there a printer that can print panels?(only membrane plane without microswiches)

4x4 for 8bucks? A\Is that custom?.. because that seems almost to good to be true :)

7rots51, I have been using inkjet printers for making small qty of membrane switches. These are not the common desktop printers. They are used to print panaflex hoarding skins of large sizes. These printers are generally used by advertisers who install billboards.

What I do is that I get my design printed in full color on vinyl and then get it laminated. Underneath this membrane, you can use any button with some padding to protect against membrane tearing.
