How to build floating message display w At89s51???Help!!

I want to build a floating message display, my mean is a device which can display a message with 7 leds in line. So, there is only 7 leds inline in that device.When we move that device to the right then to the left with a hand many times with a constant speed, the message will appear like in the air.
Does any one know how to build that floating message device???The concept???

I got a site that have a floating message project but it use AVR not in AT89s51 and write in basic language not assembly language. Can anyone build in assembly language???

Hi thomgun_lc

Search with google for "Propeller Clock" though almost all of them are PIC micro based. It worth take a look, at least for concept.
