OS for PIC?

You may translate the UCOS into the pic families.

What do you mean? Load program from disk, place and configure it in memory and run it? This is embedded RTOS for 8-bit uC, not OS for PC.

Re: OS for PIC?

SALVO RTOS. h**p://www.pumpkininc.com/

Salvo Pro comes with sources. I don't use it, so I don't have it. But as far as I know, Salvo 3.2.3 Pro was available somewhere on Internet.

Re: OS for PIC?

search for rtos in www.sf.net

this is for pic16

Ivmuk-OS is small RTOS for microcontrollers with low resources. Microchip's PIC16F877A MCU uses about 70 bytes of RAM and 800 bytes Flash.

Re: OS for PIC?

izzit possible or any RTOS out there ...... contain an application level allowing them to run simple program or application separately......

Re: OS for PIC?

any posibility?

OS for PIC?

Isn't it possible to write code for PIC on external storage device and the PIC fetches commands and executes them? In that way you can have much more coding than that of the PIC's flash memory.

Sputnik
