How to add Via on ADS's Layout view to run EM simulation

Hi,

The substrate setup is shown below. the GND is on the bottom layer.
I would like to add a small plane on the "Cond" layer which is connected to the "bottom" layer by vias,
which means the small plane is also part of the GND layer.
What I tried is to draw a circle on the "cond_cond2" layer. but I'm not sure if the way I did is correct, and how to prove if
small plane on "Cond" layer is connected to "bottom" layer through the drawing circle on " Cond_Cond2 " layer.

You can run a DRC in your PCB design tool.

Yes, this is the correct way to create your via connection.

and how to prove if

You can use 3D EM preview from the toolbar, see the arrow in my screenshot.
