TMDS signal SI ??

I need add a switch into TMDS trace for testing purpose. How can I make sure the SI issue? Do I need match the trace impedance with the swith's? Any suggestion about a proper switch?

Re: TMDS signal SI ??

imho: not possible
switching should be done after a receiver and then transmit it back to TMDS-line again

if you do think of trying it, at least put all the traces through the same switch so your channels are still in sync. Impedance matching is highly critical indeed, of course depending on used frequency.

I assume you're talking about an electronic switch...
