Hi,

I have a USB Pen Drive, but my USB port is blocked. Need to store data in the Pen Drive. So, if I connect the USB Pen Drive to the PS2 port using a PS2-USB adaptor , shall i be able to store data in the pen drive ??
Thanks

the default ps2 is a HID class for which windows has builtin
interface.

when u insert pendrive , it is a 'mass storage class'.

but builtin usb drivers cannot look into ps2 port.
i think you may require a miniport driver for this .

but you can check.

Connecting your USB pen drive (or other USB devices) to the PS/2 port using these little adapters won't work at all.
It only works for keyboards or mices with special controllers because they switch to PS/2 mode.

So you'll need a real USB host for this stick.
