How router ports work, there is one up-link port and 4 other ports, how IP addresses are given to each port, and is there more than one gateway in one router. I am in the beginning of my course and want to understand how router and its ports work and gateway and Ip addresses are assigned. I am electronic technician and now upgrading to netwotk admin.
