Power module isolation.

Hello,
My aim is to make 1xphase supply, 3xphase low power induction motor inverter based on Mitsubishi PS11014 intelligent power module at my Uni. I stuck on very beginning and I have no idea how I should separate high voltage part from user accessible low part voltage to make it “proper way”. If I connect power module ground to cpu ground then if someone tries to connect wrong wired 1phase socket then they will have 230V on lcd screen and potentiometers. Should I isolate cpu, user interface from power module via optoisolators (I have analog signals from power module too) or its better idea to isolate lcd, potentiometer, other input signals to cpu?

Thank you in advance.
Regards
ElektroTom

Re: Power module isolation.

PS11014 is designated an application specific module, I guess, the developer imagined to operate the controller connected
to the bus voltage and isolate the external and operator interface. Actually both solutions are possible. You have to determine
what's better for your requirements. During development, a safety power transformer should be available for the unisolated
controller variant.
