yield numbers for 8051?

Anyone knows that how many chips can be yield from 200mm wafer and 300mm wafer?

suppose standard 8051 config(original intel 8051).

Thanks.

For 8" wafer & .35um process, you will got 3K~4K chips depends on your cells.

I have got 354 good chips (7x7mm) from
6inch, in .35u 8) a few Y ago

yield numbers for 8051?

there is a big gap between the numbers provided by moorhuhn and vsop...

A pure 8051's gate count is around 10K gates. Moorhuhn's pinout, speed, and peripherial must be totally different from vsop's...

yield numbers for 8051?

For a 10K gates design, suppose it have 40 pins, under 0.35um process, 2 metal layers, the die size will be about 1.5x1.5. Thus a 8-inch wafer can yield some 12K dies.
