I saw RECENTLY an appliance made by a SPANISH FIRM .. It's a BOTTLE COOLER ..
You just put a bottle IN and in a matter of minutes it will get FROZEN COLD! .The design is PATENTED and UNIQUE .. the use a MICROWAVES source of energy to produce the COLD .. i still don't get it ,..But this THING is GOING TO BE BIG !..
the bottle tube is not even closed . SO is INSTANTANEOUS cold !

ANY IDEAS??

Can you post a link to the advertisement? There is the possibility that the description given to the general public by the firm's advertising department may not be technically correct.

I suspect that this device either uses the Pelter effect devices or is a regular refrigeration device which uses heat from a resistive element. Back about 50 years ago there were kitchen refrigerators which used heat sources instead of motor driven compressors to operate. They were for remote regions without electricity and used kerosene as the fuel for the heat source.

Listen FLATULENT .. i did a search on the net and did't find what i saw ..I saw it on TRADE SHOW .. here locally . This was a machine with capacity for 6 or 8 bottles .The guy that was doing the presentation stated that THIS WAS an AWARD winning CONCEPT and fully patented PROTECTED . I saw the bottles becoming frozen in a matter of minutes and the TUBES where you insert the bottles were NOT EVEN CLOSED ... SO to be some kind of PELTIER DEVICE the bottles had to be IN DIRECT contact with the wall of the TUBES ..But they appear to be loose ..( YOU NEED this in order to accept any type of bottle!!!)
I will do more serch and if i find what i saw i will certainly POST it ..
The company was SPANISH for shure, and they were CONFIDENT that their machine was REVOLUTIONARY .. well it did IMPRESS me !

Ask them for the patent number. The latent heat of fusion of water is about 335 kJ/kg. If they had 1 kg of water turned to ice in 5 minutes the energy flow would be a little over 1 kW. Where did all of that heat go? Did the package become hot? Even with 90% cooling efficiency it would require a 100 W power source to run.

Assuming the 2nd termodinamic law is respected and in general that's a serious machine, please give some references.

If patented, it will be sold! So it will be advised!

Please give some links, some address etc.

Thanks
