Photons are electromagnetic in nature, therefore they have no 'charge'. There is no attraction or repulsion between photons; however, there can be quantum field reactions that look like either attraction or repulsion under the right circumstances.
It is also possible for a photon to 'wrap' an electron. Two such 'wrapped' electrons in proximity might exhibit electrostatic repulsive forces that would give the appearance of the wrapping photons repulsing one another. Keep in mind that the photons themselves would not be participants in the forces involved in such a case.
Photons will interact as linear electromagnetic fields - adding or subtracting field strengths. No attraction or repulsion takes place.
PHOTONS?? .. it seems to me that so far people don't really know if photons are PARTICLES or WAVES ..sometimes they behave like particles and other like electromagnetic waves...
The mathamatical background that describes them make assumptions that some how gets very close to explain their behavior . but the duality exists and nobody knows if ther are paricles or waves .both matematical tools so opposite work in describing their behavior ?
