How is oscillator watchdog implemented/

i've heard of oscillator watchdog, but how is it implemented?

insinde the microcontroller, and we just use the feature? what microcontrollers have oscillator watchdog?

i think the best thing is read the datasheet of a target microcontroller you want to used. most of microchip pic microcontrollers that feature

can you briefly describe how to use it for microchip micrcontrollers as i havent tried them before..
microcontrollers i've used so far only have watchdog timer, not oscillator watchdog.
