Using the BFP420 /620

Hey, if you are not very well on the LNA, I think the BFP420/620 is better choise, because it do not need a speical in/output matching... I have try it and can easy obtained a very good result

I would recomend the "RF Circuit Design" Book by Chris Bowick.
Im not sure if does a LNA design directly but it is a very straight
forward design guide. It's only about (US) $24. But if you just look
on the web for a 1.9GHz LNA Im sure you can find many FET's
with very good spec. Some of these FET's are so nice you will
probably be able to meet your design goals without any matching
networks.

Good luck

Have a look at the application notes at Philips semiconductor site.

Dear toonafishy
Could you please give the application note title or number, it is hard to find them from the file name. thank you

how to find the /\gilent stuff

Start ot www./\gilent.com
click on RF & Microwaves under the Semiconductor Products
click on Cellular/PCS under the Select By Market
clcik on IS95C CDMA PCS under CDMA
Click on LNA

There are your transistor choices

here is the link but its pretty long:
