Hi, there,

I need a variable clock source for Delta-Sigma ADC chips. As only the short term stability matters, I'm thinking about VCO. I wonder how good the 4046 (and its improved version like 74LV4046, etc) VCO is in terms of noises.

Has anyone used it or tested it for similar applicaion? or any other recommendation?

Many thanks
