Hi.
I know that in ideal gases law, we have:
p = nKT
K = boltzmann constant (joule/kelvin)
T = temperature in kelvin
p = pressure in pascal
n = density in 1/m^3
NOW,HOW get following relation in room temperature for for a neutral gas?
n = 3.25*10^16*p
that: p is in terms of Torr and n is cm^-3.
How above equation is obtained from p=nKT ?
thank you

That looks like an empirical equation!!

Looks a straightforward unit conversion. I'll point you towards it...

from P=nKT:

n = P / KT

n = P / 1.38*10-23 * 293

n = P / 4.0434*10-21

Bring the divisor up:

n = P . 2.473*1020

Convert n to cm³ instead of m³ by dividing by 1x106:

n = P . 2.473*1014

Convert P to Torr instead of Pa by multiplying by 133.322:

n = P. 3.3*1016

thank you very much FoxyRick
It help me...I did same prucedure,but I don't know why my answer became false.
your answer is ture.
thanks...
