hey sarita!! i m doing fingerprint recognition using NN as final year project, first i also thought of doing it but due to technical reasons, we didn't did it. First of all, which palm scanner are you using and what sort of quality of the image you acquire?? that part is the most before you go...for further image processing stuffs......and applying..different algos... :|
 

hi sarita, how is ur project now? coz i'm thinking to do the same project but using DCT. we can share some experience n knowledge.
