Hello everyone.
Tell me, in HFSS in "analyze" -> "advance" there is an option "Use radiation boundaries port". How does it work? Are the port modes considered not with the PEC boundary condition, but with the "radiation" condition? Or does it mean that it has the properties of an open space and passes (and does not reflect) the waves coming out of the model?

I have seen recommendations that when modeling microstrip lines, this check mark must be put. What kind of experience can you have to understand its effect?
