hii... i read the posts on theory about working of antenna....but i'd like to know...how this antenna traps the radio waves that is to b converted to electricity!!!:???::?:

Radio waves are electromagnetic waves. The waves interact with the electrons in the antenna pushing and pulling them like a boat on ocean is moved up and down by water waves.

If using dance analogy it's more like a mosh pit. The energy gets transferred much faster than the electrons move themselves.
