I would like to start an Analog/mixed signal IC design consultancy in United Kingdom?

There are a lot of consultancies in the UK. How can I get work?

There seems to be alot of demand for IC design at the moment.

Is there anybody requiring Analog/Mixed signal IC design overseas I wonder?

Idea, information, suggestions and requests for IC design work all invited.

Mthoughts are:

1) The critical element is contact. Initially jobs are introduced through recommendations from people who know you.

2) Team members. the type of demand from clients usually involve the work of a few people. It is difficult for one person to set up a successful IC consultant company and be able to finish the job.

3) CAD costs. Industrial design suites cost a lot. For some of the jobs the CAD tools may be provided by te clients. However, I wouldn't be surprised that a design consultant company has a few in-house CAD tools
