MWoffice and equation

Hi to all
who of you knows how could i use the equation editor in mwoffice?
In particular i have this situation: i have this equation

Z11 = Schematic 1:Re(Z(1,1))

but i need to calculate 1/Z11. I have tried to do i this way

Z11 = Schematic 1:1/(Re(Z(1,1)))

but an error message appears.

Can you help me?
Thanks

Re: MWoffice and equation

Your first equation is an output equation. It is only used for assigning measurements to a variable. You must add another standard equation below it such as xyz=1/Z11. Then it will work. You will notice that output equations are green and standard equations are black like this:

Z11 = Schematic 1:Re(Z(1,1))
xyz=1/Z11

14.3 Using Output Equations

Output equations assign the result of a measurement to a variable, which can be used in other equations just like other variables. Output equations display in dark green, whereas standard equations display in black. The following example defines a variable named "s_data" and assigns it to the S11 data of an amplifier:

s_data = Amp1:|S[1,1]|

After simulating, the variable will contain a vector of real values representing S11 versus its sweep.

In the following Output Equations window, filters11 is a variable that is equal to the measurement s11 of the filter source. Note that the final equation contains three different measurements.
