how capacitor controls the current in a circuit ?. can we use capacitor instead of resistor for current controlling ???
 

capacitor controls current according to the equation
i = C * (dv/dt)

We cannot use capacitor in place of resistor always. In some cases it is possible.
 

If you are talking about AC, then a series capacitor will restrict current to some degree. There is a formula for this, based on the AC frequency.
