Hi,
As per I know the the MATLAB algorithm has to be converted in to C program hen only you can interact with DSPIC.
Or search net for ther matlab to C converter is available.
You can buy a blockset from Microchip for the 16-bit Micros.
It is quite expensive, $1,500 us.
There is also a block set on Wiki a lot cheaper. https://www.kerhuel.eu/wiki/Index.php5
You can download a limited trial.
I suggest to clap eyes on my website www.sim2lab.com
Here you can find a good tool for developing embedded systems in Simulink for dsPIC chips. SIM2LAB dsPIC33 Target Blockset offers a cost effective solution for rapid-prototyping. You can also build your own GUI (Graphical User Interface) for data logging/monitoring, as well as change on-the-fly the software parameters.
Visit my website for further details and download your evaluation copy.
Hope to see you soon!
