flicker noise

how can i simulate the flicker noise of
a transistor ? use hspice or ads
plz tell me thx

Re: flicker noise

This has nothing to do with the simulator. This depends on the accuracy of the model you're using. Any simulator can simulate flicker noise, as long as they support models that do the trick!

Re: flicker noise

would u please tell me how to write script
in spice file to simulate lc oscillator
phase noise ? i am using tsmc 0.18 rf cmos
technology , thx

Re: flicker noise

I'm using Tanner Tools as my simulator...
Suppose the syntax is not differ very much with other simulator...

.ac DEC 5 10K 10G / ac sweep
.noise v(out,in) v3 / define noise source
.temp 17 / define temperature

.print noise dn(M1,FN) / print Filcker Noise(NF) of tarnsistor M1

Try to use the help menu or look some examples which is provided when you have the tools! You need to study the syntax... :D
