I am trying to extract the coupling coefficient for two coupled resonator (waveguide filter) by measurement approach (vector network analyzer) or using HFSS. Can someone give me a procedure to get a coupling coefficient.

Please suggest me, I am newbie in this field.
Thank in advance

Coupling Coefficient

This is very tricky to do, is never very accurate and is probably not neccesary.

If you are trying to set up the coupling in a filter, the easiest method is described in the attached paper.

You can use the group delay method if you don't have the time domain option on your network analyser. Let me know if you need me to explain it to you.

Maybe your should see the passage Entire_toturial.doc.And you can find it on this web site.
