How bit patterns of image are send from PC to a printer?

hello
i want to know the how the printer takes and processes the infomation from the computer images in different formats,actually how the data bits from the computer images(especially b/w) are being send to the printers
i hope to get the answer

there is a preprocessing called color space conversion in image processing,

go through that
