4 phase non overlapping clock

How to design 4-phase nonoverlapping clock generator without PLL/DLL method? Someone told me that based on traditional 2-phase nonoverlapping clock gen, just put a binary counter in front of the 4 cross-couple inverter chains .But I didn't know the details. Can somebody here help me? Thanks.

how about your 4-phase nonoverlapping clock generator? they will be used in switched-capacitor circuit for bottom-plate sampling?

To jiangxb:
yes,it will be used in SC circuits.
Do you know the implementation details?
