Hello,

For those of you who are familiar with electrodialysis and its potential in the water purification process:

Would it be possible for me to construct one using the carbon rod from a carbon-zinc battery as the cathode, and the zinc portion of the battery as the anode? As I have limited experiences in many aspects of engineering, could you please nudge me in the right direction?

Thanks! :D
p.s.: This is mainly for personal interest, though if possible, I may apply it to a school project.
