Construction assumption was to built quite cheap subwoofer with untypical shape. Sub gives bass for Tonsil Fenix columns loudspeakers that are not good enough for music and for movies.

Construction
Subwoofer is based on modest STX GDN-22-200-4-SC with small modernization. Cupola is bigger because of esthetic reasons. Original look of speaker is really low budget, so I’ve made some changes. Of course not everyone like this but for me this form is much better than previously and all construction has stronger character.
Housing is made of MDF board 19mm and 20l capacity. Veneer finish and silver semimat paint. All is split by hand flex wire, tarnish by water paper to get aluminum effect. All curves made thanks to polyester spatula. Device stand on 4 adjustable bolts. At the pictures, veneer colour seems to be lighter, but it is because of camera flash. What about amplifeier? – not much, its Vieta company with 70Wrms purportedly
Sound
What can I say, it’s just cheap STX and as I said, construction wasn’t design to smash you brain. I didn’t expect anything special, althought I’m happy with quality. Bass is soft, and surely enough. Only think that I don’t like is sometimes is too soft. As for now, for me construction is enough, maybe someday I will exchange speaker into Tonsil.
