I am implementing DCT and IDCT fucnctions in verilog. Can u suggest me or give a brief idea about those trasnsforms..... is it possible to realise complex mathematical functions in hardware form(using FPGA)
Need material and info on entropy decoder and encoder and also Hoffman encoder and decoder algorithm

However, if you are looking for free HDL code, that may not be the best place to look.
Also try searching Xilinx's web site for "Huffman decoder". I see a lot of application notes on that topic, and some include HDL code for various stages of the process.
I am in need of huffman encoder using vhdl.Can you please help me ragarding this.
I have xilinx and opencore code with me but can any body did with genarating huffman tables.
