How to find current density in a metal plate if the voltages are known previously?
 

first u must calculate R=ρl/A that A is surface and l=length of ur plate and ρ depend on quality of the plate.
second calculate I=V/R.
current will be obtained.
regards.
 

I think you need to devide I by the cross area of your metal plate,which is equal to width*thickness.
