[SOLVED] Highlight connected nets using Cadence Virtuoso

Hi,

Is it possible to highlight connected nets in Cadence Virtuoso?

I have done this before using both tanner and synopsys tools but can't seem to find the same function in cadence (although I have only just started using it!)

With previous tools I have specified which layers are connected and what the connection layer is. e.g met1 to met2 connection layer via1 etc.....

However I can't see how to do it using Cadence but I am sure it must be able to do it.

tools>Diva>probe is what I used, but I never had the
"pleasure" of IC6 before I walked away from Cadence
tools and the job that provided them. Any probe form,
wherever you may find it, will highlight the entirety of any
net and should go top to bottom of hierarchy.

Now if this is about layout, you need to be working in the
extracted, analog_extraccted, av_analog_extracted views;
layout view is just a dumb pile of polygons, properties and
cell refs. Adjunct tools will put down flight lines etc. by
processing but only if you let the tools auto-gen, auto-place
your schematic's content. Layout all by itself, don't know
nuthin'.
