Hi folks,
I am looking for a serial data transmission protocol.
In principle the Ethernet hardware layer should be used
for cost reasons.
(- symmetric RX and TX line)
The protocol should have the following features:
- DC balanced data coding
- CRC protection
- real time data exchange possibilities
(some clock cycles latency are ok, Interrupt transmission would be good)
- small packet size
Has any one some ideas???
(possibly using 8b/10b coding ?)
Thanks for any suggestion.
