High speed SerDes

Consider having a SerDes top DRC clean. If you place the same top SerDes blocks next to each other, you might get maximum density for one and minimum density error for another. How would you solve this?

You can use EDA tools that offer density optimization features.

What are your density window sizes? I have often that foundries are very negotiable on the density window sizes if you ask them nicely
