Hello evry1,,

I need a power opamp (which can give a current of atlest 200mA) which has a reasonable speed (atleast 10v/us slew rate)and is affordable. I looked at LM6313 and that will suit my application. But I realised that is obsolete. Can any1 suggest any similar one please..

Thanks in advance.

Hey Tahmid,,,

Thanks for the reply...it says obsolete item please call

TI has a family of power OPs for DSL and power line application, that is my favourite source for high speed, high current.
Classical types are THS6012 and THS6022, but there are more with slightly different parameters. They are mostly current feedback OPs.

Can you use an opamp with an additional emitter follower?

Hi,,,ive already tried using an emitter follower. Though it worked in simulation,,,exactly the same thing didnt work on a breadboard...so i opted for a power opamp...Ive had some success with L272 but since its slew rate is only 1v/us and as my application needs a frequency rance of up 2 100kHz...i need a faster power amp...Thanks for the help...

Hey all,,

I have decided to use an LM6181. I have almost succeeded but having some slight problems.

Has any1 used this opamp for driving inductive loads?? It works fine for frequencies above 50kHz...but there is ringing for frequencies below....Any ideas what could be causing this????

Thanks for all the help guys!!

Hi GaryM,
Octopart.com`s answer:
Sorry, no suppliers found. Do you know where to buy this part? Send us an email, Have you used National Semiconductor LM6313N?

Hey guys,,,

sorry for bothering again,,
Does any1 know where 2 get LH0101 at an affordable price?? Apparently its quite good for inductive loads..want 2 give ir a try but cant spend too much money...

Thanks

Hmmm_a good question!
Quest has it for ca. $110.-...

Maybe Mouser?
Otherwise; you can surly build a moderner & cheaper solution...
