Hello all,

Do you have any idea what's the highest sampling rate a delta sigma adc can achieve in today's state of art? 100MHz? 200MHz? 500MHz?

Thanks!

I see the 5 MHz in TI

but never see 100MHZ before

how about in research area?

in industry, TI has delta sigma modulator adc sampling up to 16MHz (typical is 10MHz); Analog Devices 64MHz

btw, is TI or Analog Devices the best analog & mix signal IC design company? or any other companies?

But in IEEE paper , there are some papers stated that the speed is more than 100MHz. Is that acheiveable or only experimental ?

I've heard of a Sigma Delta ADC with > 500Meg clock,
but it was continuous-time.

i also found >1GHz, but it's BiCMOS process; any CMOS > a few hundrunds hz?

A switched capacitor DSM clocked at 200MHz was presented at the 2005 ISSCC.
And TI recently commercialised a 16b DSM sampled at 60MHz.

The highest I've seen was described in:

"A 2-GHz analog-to-digital delta-sigma modulator for CDMA receivers with 79-dB signal-to-noise ratio in 1.23-MHz bandwidth" (JSSC, November 2004

CT in 0.18u CMOS, 18mW power consumption at 1.8V.

what kind of applications does require such a high speed....I'm new to all this

I can not find it in TI selection guide

could you tell me?
what is number in part?
