This project is a modified Chinese poor quality flashlight with a 100W bulb. It was disassembled in order to provide housing and reflector (10cm in diameter). Additional elements used: burner, converter, battery and switch.
The picture presents a 35W xenon burner. The original halogen had an inscription 6V/100W on the cover, but it consumed about 15W at the same voltage.
The converter (ballast) used in this project, unfortunately, gives the DC voltage to the burner. It turned out that it was reduced from the H-bridge at the output. This in turn decreases the stability of the burner and worsens its colour. The converter consumes 3,5V and works really quietly.
Accumulator is a home made package of 9 Li-Ion cells of type 18650 with a capacitance of 2200mAh each. With connection 3S3P that gives 10,8V 6600mAh. Once charged, the flashlight works for approximately 1,5h.
You can see an additional socket for charging and balancing the cells.
You can improve the distribution of light and its concentration by using reflector of higher quality.
