Hello All,

Help would be appreciated with the following problem.

I am using Atmel's Board eb40 which has AT91R40807 processor on it with an ARM7TDMI processor core..

From the atmel board we downloaded the EBLOAD software tool for programming the board..
While trying to flash program one of the very basic program "LED_BLINK"

IT says that under the software the Flash Menu should get updated , but this never seems to happen only..

Can anyone help.. or can anyone suggest wht other flash programmer we can try for this processor...

Help would be appreciated

Thanks

Sanjay

Hi,

the EBLoad on Atmel's web site is not the latest. Try downloading version 1.1 from RTJ Computing's website:
https://rtjcom.com/download
look at the bottom of the page.

When you start EBLoad, goto to preferences and make sure you selected correct board type. On the main screen select the serial port that is connected to eval. board port A.

To program flash, you have to first boot board in flash loading mode, then in the EBLoad synchronize with the flash loader by pressing F3 (or menu Flash/Synchrinize). Open the file image (File/Open) you wish to program and then hit F6 (Flash/Write) to transfer the image to the board.

Hi,

Close jumper J7. There is a mistake in the documentation of the EB40.

Good Luck
