Hi - I'm trying to design an ultra small, ultra high boost ratio power supply. I am looking to do 6V DC in, 500V DC out. Load current will be under 20ua on the output.

I have been experimenting with an autotransformer based design (like shown in 1c here: **broken link removed** ) but I'm seeing terrible ringing problems on both the primary and the secondary due to the leakage inductance of the transformer. I've seen this both in simulations and in an actual circuit.

Can anybody suggest a better way of going about this? I should mention that I have a pretty limited amount of space to work with - so parts have to be kept as small as possible.

Thanks!
