I am simulating one connector in HFSS. I have assigned different materials for pins (Copper alloy) and body (Polyester). While validating, I am getting error of intersection. How to remove or ignore this error? please help. I'm new in HFSS.

check the dimensions of the pins carefully...even a fractional of interconnection results in error in HFSS

The problem is that the pin and dielectric overlap and the simulation does not know which material to use in the overlap. Subtract the pin (save the object ) from the dielectric. Now there should be no ambiguity between pin and dielectric. You could also set "material override" so conductors take precedence. I am usually vey careful when I have conductors in a simulation rather than PEC.
