hfss 64

I have installed Windows XP 64bit Edition on an AMD Athlon 64 3200+ and want to use HFSS on this machine. After installing the new 64bit dongle drivers, FLEXlm and HFSS I can start the license server. But when I start HFSS I get the error message, that my dongle might not be working correctly. At Ansoft they don't know now what the problem is. Has anyone had a problem like this? And maybe a solution?

flexlm ansoft windows 64

what version of dongle drivers you are using ? I had the similar problem for some softwares on my 64 bit XP Pro and now resolved sussessfully. If you still facing problem then reply.

hfss node lock windowsxp x64

Problem is solved, or lets say circumvented:
The node-locked license (Software, Solver and Dongle on the same machine) does not work with HFSS10 and a 64bit machine. Ansoft sent me a temporary license key that was locked to the MAC-Adress. This was very convenient and (again) a good service by them. But the disadvantage is that my colleagues had to use my PC for simulating.
Using version 11 or a floating license it is possible to use the 64bit machine with the dongle.

hfss for 64-bit windows

Yes.

I have a node locked license operating on a 64 bit XEON and a similar situation with a floating license on an independent 64 bit PC. Both are using XP Pro.
