Re: HFSS Cursor Problem

I'm running HFSS V11 under Vista, and I'm having problems with the cursor.

I can see the regular cursor, but I cannot see the little diamond that usuall drags along with it on the grid that can be used for snapping to objects/grid.

Any suggestions on how to activate it?

Thanks,

Terry

Turned out to Windows Vista Aero. Set your Vista display settings to standard windows, and everything works.....

Found the solution. The problem lies in the display. Changing the color display to 16bit corrects the problem.

I have exactly the same problem with HFSS 12 in Windows 7.
But changing to 16 bits or anything that reduces the display quality makes the display area of HFSS to not work at all, it becomes gray.

Any ideas??

Thanks,

Ariana

Re: HFSS Cursor Problem

I'm having this problem also. I'm using HFSS 13. The cursor shows up normally, and then for some reason it just isn't showing up anymore. I tried restarting HFSS. I tried changing the colors to 16 bit. I'm running windows XP.

It's painfully difficult to draw bondwires if you can't see what you are clicking on.
