Hi all, appreciate any ideas here.....
I have been using HFSS 15.0.2 (32 bit) with a dongle without issues on a Lenovo laptop, then used again on a Dell, no issues - all with 64bit Win7 pro. I have an Alienware 17 at home and wanted to test the speed difference by running some comparisons. But whatever i do a cannot get the software to run, the installation process is normal and as expected, picking the dongle as the hardware license, but when i launch HFSS i get a spinning busy icon then nothing. I first thought this could be compatibility issues so went through the combinations, tried running as administrator with no luck. I then thought this could be driver related, so checked everything was up to date, still nothing obvious.
Am I missing something?....or is it simply that HFSS with not run on Alienware hardware?!
Thanks for any help (btw i understand that I'm never going to get the full advantage running a 32bit program on a 64bit system).
